Life has always been about priorities. At Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln, our top priority is to provide you with excellent healthcare delivered with compassion and respect. We commit ourselves to accomplish this goal daily at your hospital. Each member of our team works together to ensure you receive superior treatment while in our care. This year, we have concentrated our efforts in expanding our services across all parts of Lincoln County, providing you with the most advanced medical technology, adding more physicians to our staff, hosting community wellness events which present you with the most up-to-date health information, and providing a nurse-to-patient ratio above the national average.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of our county's hospital and tell you of the successes and achievements of Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln this year.
- We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jason Glass and West Lincoln Family Medicine to the western part of our county. The newly opened East Lincoln Medical Plaza is growing wih the addition of the CMC-East Lincoln Surgery Center and a continuum of medical care options through a variety of physician specialties.
- We continue to add new technology, the latest being our Bone Densitometry, Digital Mammography and CT-Scanners to our Radiology Department. With these additions, we now have the most current radiology technology available.
- We are recruiting the best and brightest physicians and have added over eight new physicians since this time last year who are actively serving Lincoln County's health needs.
- We are taking an active role in our community, partnering with the Lincoln County Family YMCA, area churches, and local organizations to inform you of the most recent developments in health and wellness.
- While providing excellent care at the current hospital location, we are busy with the construction of a replacement hosptial and medical office building. The buildings will offer state-of-the-art design to maximize patient safety and minimize environmental impact.
All of these accomplishments are driven by the dedication of our staff, and most importantly, the confidence and trust of the individuals and families we serve. Our hospital is tightly woven into the fabric of this community and we are proud to be able to care for you, your family, neighbors, co-workers and friends.
