|  At Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln, board certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses provide urgent and emergency care 24 hours a day. Staff members have many years of experience and also are certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support.
Our Emergency Department is serving over 35,000 Lincoln County residents each year. Of those patients, more than 2,300 were admitted to the hospital. The department, which has 15 beds, is equipped with trauma rooms and treatment rooms used exclusively for cardiac, medical, pediatric, ophthalmic and orthopaedic emergencies.
